Arrius builds classical guitars for players who expect an instrument to be complete: complete in sound, in comfort under the hand, and in the way it looks on a concert stage. Every guitar in our collection is made of solid wood only, assembled by hand, signed, numbered and delivered with its own certificate of authenticity.

A fine guitar has always said something about the person who plays it. We take that seriously. The tone comes first, and it always will. But we also believe that an instrument meant to live for decades deserves the care of a piece of jewellery: chosen woods, precise joinery, a finish applied by hand, and details that reward a second look.

Spanish tradition, American workshop

Our way of building is Spanish at heart. In 2014 we brought that experience to the United States of America, where we have good access to the finest tonewoods. The instruments are made by hand by a small group of luthiers, working under the constant supervision of experienced Spanish specialists, alongside engineers who help us refine every construction before it reaches a player.

Two principles have not changed since the beginning. We use solid wood only, never laminates. And we season it for a minimum of eight years before it becomes part of a guitar, because a top or a back that has had time to settle stays stable for the whole life of the instrument.

The collection

Each model answers a different player. The S-1000 is our concert instrument with a double top of cedar and spruce. The MPR-5000 is the master-grade guitar of the MPR series, and the MPR-400 keeps its principles at a gentler price. The MPR-100 S, with its rounded cutaway, opens the upper frets for advanced players, and the UK-1500 carries our guitar-building solutions into the ukulele.

For players who want an instrument that is unmistakably theirs, we also prepare limited series and individual finishes, including the M Diamond series, where the headstock is set with moissanite stones.

Every piece carries its own papers

Look through the soundhole of any Arrius and you will find a label with the model name. The serial number of the instrument is recorded on its certificate of authenticity and quality, together with a holographic seal and the signature of quality control. How to recognise a genuine Arrius.
